"Paradise"
From the moment you step in to this hotel, you are in Paradise. Outstanding staff, new Floridian styled accommodations, beds that will make you want to live there, special touches such as snacks in your rooms. You don't want to miss the manager's nightly special of a complimentary seated massage and drink!!! If I'm dreaming, don't wake me up!! This hotel is great and is just a few blocks from two great malls with Busch gardens nearby. It is touted as a "business resort", but there are a lot of families that were staying there. I will be back!!!!

"Great Staff"
When I checked in to your hotel it was very unique. I stayed there for 4 nights with my brother and everything from your restaurant staff and pool were amazing. Your breakfast buffet is one of a kind. each morning I woke up I was greeted by your hostess. She has a great smile. She sat my brother and I at a table told us Miss Ann would be taking care of us and described perfectly your buffet and menu. So of course when we left she said have a good day. For my brother and I looking for a place to move in Tampa she made it feel like we were very welcomed. We went back for lunch and Colleen was still at the hostess stand and said nice to see you again walked us thru the lunch buffet and got us our drinks. Miss Ann and Colleen are both great staff members and on behalf of my brother and I we would like to say thanks.

"The Wyndham Hotel-A Tampa treasure"
The Wyndham Hotel in Tampa, FL was incredible. I was a guest at the Wyndham for 2 weeks during a training session for a new job. The staff was warm, friendly & genuine! The front desk gave absolutely fabulous recommendations for restraints in the area. The shuttle drivers were all happy to see me & made sure there was a shuttle ready to coincide with my training schedule. The Restaurant staff remembered what I ordered previously & made me feel at home. The after work reception was FABULOUS! Being there for 2 weeks I became quite spoiled by the complimentary seated massages, ice cold bottled water & fresh fruit that greeted me in the lobby at the end of a long day of studying. Even the beds were amazing. I came home from my stay @ the Wyndham and realized that I will now need to buy a new mattress, because the beds at the Wyndham have totally spoiled me, they are wonderful! If you are traveling to Tampa, STAY AT THE WYNDHAM!

"Excellent Hotel- Had a Wonderful Experience"
We held one of our regional meetings at the Wyndham Tampa Westshore. What an excellent experience. We had a great meeting room, wonderful service and a great staff who catered to all of our needs. The food was excellent and you couldn't beat the dessert. The guest rooms were great too. The beds were extra comfortable, very clean and everything looked brand new. The hotel was recently renovated and wow what a great job they did. We are planning several more meetings at this facility and now suggest it as our hotel of choice when we bring travelers in from out of town.

"Great Hotel"
My husband, 4 year old son and I booked a weekend through Hotels(--) for the Wyndham Tampa Westshore and really loved our experience. The hotel is beautiful and high end in it's details and service, yet it is small and intimate so you are not "just another guest." The breakfast buffet and Starbucks were a hit with the whole family and the pool & hot tub were especially nice. The service was top notch too.

Overall, we would definitely stay at the Wyndham again.

"Loved the Staff"
My wife Donna and I were headed for a cruise in the Caribbean to celebrate Donna's birthday and our wedding anniversary when we found the Wyndham on one of my travel web sites. I was looking for a hotel that was close to the airport, had a restaurant where we could enjoy a good meal after a day of travel with transportation to and from the airport.
The info on the Wyndham at the travel site seemed to fit the bill. The pictures and information about the property was enough for me to book it. The one item that was not mentioned in the hotel info was how pampered we were about to be when we got to the hotel. From the first person I talked to on the courtesy phone at the airport looking for information to get a shuttle to the hotel, to the man who drove us to the ship the next day, every Wyndham employee made us feel like they were there just for us. The shuttle driver was very kind and informative about the hotel and surrounding area if we wanted to leave the hotel for any kind of shopping or dinning experience. The staff at the front desk, including the young man I had talked to on the phone from the airport, made sure we were welcomed at the hotel including coming out from behind the desk to present us with the key to our room. This was a first! We have traveled all over the world and never had a front desk person come out from behind the desk to put the key to our room in our hand and make sure we had information to all the hotel's amenities. The staff in the Blue Water restaurant were so attentive to our needs that it seemed like we were the only people in the room. The next morning we got the same wonderful attention in the breakfast area from the staff there.
As we prepared to leave the next day and head to the ship, the front desk staff and the shuttle driver would have none of us waiting 30 minutes for the next shuttle. They put us on a waiting shuttle and off to the pier we went with one of the most likeable and informative people we have ever been with from a hotel. Not only did he tell us how to expedite our getting on the ship but he gave us all kinds of information about the surrounding dock area that we could enjoy while waiting to board. We commented to him how every employee at the hotel had impressed us with their friendly attitude and willingness to be of service since arriving at the airport. He told us that the Wyndham may not be the biggest and newest property in Tampa but they work hard at being the friendliest and most attentative to their customers so all of us will be looking forward to coming back. I assure you that we will be telling our friends about the Wyndham and the great service they give their clients. The way they treated us and catered to our every need was a perfect way for us to head off on a cruise and celebrate two important events in our life.

"Great Service"
From the moment of arrival to departure (3 days later) the service by the Hotel personnel was some of the best ever experienced. They were available when needed and always smiling and having something nice to say. This started with the Bell Hops and Desk Personnel as well as Waiters and Waitresses. Would definitely return to this hotel.

"Nice Surprise..."
The hotel had great response time with their shuttle service to the airport. The driver was highly informative and congenial. Upon arrival to the hotel, the front desk staff demonstrated exceptional customer service and even escorted me to the nearby elevators, asking me to call them for any additional needs. The following morning, I was greeted in the hallway by a caring, smiling housekeeper. It’s true that customer service is 90% employee attitude, and Wyndham is one of the best I’ve seen in that regard. The entryway to the hotel is open and somewhat spacious. The marble floors are a nice pre-empt to travelers. The surrounding areas to the hotel are somewhat busy, but the hotel has taken the extra step to insulate their clientele.

"Superior Service"
If you are a business professional looking to impress clients, book the Wyndham Hotel in Tampa. I conduct many training events promoting our luxury brand appliances. I can honestly say that in my 20 years of experience I would have to rate the Wyndham sales and marketing team among the best that I have worked with. From planning and scheduling with Brandon Marshall to our on-site experience with the most incredible service staff (Jeff and the gang) that we have encountered. The food selections were amazing. My clients and co-workers are still raving about the event.

"Wonderful Experience"
When returning from a cruise out of Tampa, my wife and I stayed at the Wyndham to finish our vacation. We have never experienced such wonderful service ( this after being papered for 5 days on the cruise. The Hotel was beautiful, room was large and well equipped but it was the level of service the was exceptional! Everyone from the hotel that we came in contact with went out of their way to make us feel welcome and special. I stay in hotels approx. 130 nights a year and the Wyndham stands at the top of my list!!!

Keep up the great job and we look forward to visiting again...

"Had a Wonderful Stay, Great Staff"
My wife and I spent 5 days in Tampa Florida at the end of March 2006. Our stay at the Wyndham Hotel on the Westshore section of Tampa was great. The staff was very accommodating to our needs. The hotel rooms are newly renovated, clean and well appointed. I don't travel often, but when I do, I want to stay in a hotel with great service and style. We got just that at the Wyndham. Centrally located to our points of interest, Tampa offers fine restaurants and a short drive to theme parks, beaches, sporting events etc. I will visit again and again.

"Great Stay at the Wyndham"
My wife and I had a pre and post cruise stay at the Wyndham. The entire staff is very pleasant and work hard to make sure guests are taken care of. Two of the Wyndham staff really stood out to us. Daniel the van driver was outstanding and has a great knowledge of the area and treated us like family. Anna in the bar/restaurant was exceptional. We stayed on the 11th floor club level which definitely was the way to go. Rooms were very clean and better than average. The club lounge for continental breakfast as well as evening appetizers and drinks was staffed well and if there was something particular you wanted, all you had to do was ask and they would get it for you. We are definitely coming back and Anna make sure the Courvoisier XO is waiting !!!!!

"No Better Hotel"
I travel extensively throughout the United States and have stayed more evenings in hotels than my own home. This hotel has absolutely, without a doubt, the most superior staff I have ever met. From the time I was picked up by Darrel in the Wyndham Shuttle and throughout my entire stay, the staff went out of their way to accommodate me. Even the bathroom attendant lady was friendly and cheerful. I had just returned from Disneyland the week before and it seemed like this place was the "happiest place on earth" more so than Disneyland. It was apparent that everyone loved their job and enjoyed pampering us. They definitely were the most kind, courteous, and cordial, people I have ever run across. They are what other staff's should aspire to be like. There is no better hotel anywhere than the Wyndham Hotel in Tampa.

"fun, funky hotel"
Very fun atmosphere, very campy, kind of W feeling.
Great cocktail lounge, with an older couple hand-rolling cigars, music playing, hotel staff running around handing people free waters.

Nice beds, nice rooms, decent enough location, especially if you want to shop (near to two main shopping plazas)

Four months ago we booked rooms at another hotel and when I called to confirm our request for 2 adjoining rooms with double beds we were told our rooms were on different floors and the hotel was completely booked so they wouldn't be able to accommodate our request. We were traveling with four children so this was going to make our vacation very difficult. I quickly researched and called the Wyndham which I hadn't heard of so hadn't considered, and thankfully they were able to give us exactly, if not even more, than we requested. We had adjoining rooms with a king size bed in one, and two queen size beds in the other. The beds were the most comfortable beds we had ever slept on -- no exaggeration. The rooms are warm and inviting, and very clean. The staff was awesome -- when we checked in they overheard us mention our trip was a birthday gift for our son and surprised him with a gift which really made him feel special. From that point on we were confident we had made the right choice in staying at the Wyndham. We look forward to staying there again.

“Best Stay”
Stayed at the Wyndham Tampa Westshore two weekends in a row on business. I thought it was great business hotel. It was quiet and friendly. They had WIFI in the lobby and a free shuttle to and from the airport and to and from the mall. The rooms were very nice also. They also have free neck massages in the lobby during happy hour. Now that's a stress reducer!

As a female traveling by myself on business, I felt VERY comfortable and VERY welcomed at this hotel. 1st of all, they have complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport, which was much better than taking a cab. They are close to the airport, so you don't have to spend too much time on the road either. They have a complimentary manager's reception every afternoon where you can get free drinks, enjoy appetizers and a chair massage! I don't think in all my travels I can recall a hotel that does this unless you are the club level of the hotel. I had a lot of work to do unfortunately, but this hotel made it really easy to do my work the next morning while I had my Starbucks coffee and accessed their wireless internet in the lobby. I didn't have a chance to use their pool, but it looked very nice. It was large and quiet, so I wish I could have used it. Overall, I'd have to say that this was one of the most pleasant hotel experiences I've had in a VERY long time!!! I would highly recommend to anyone going to the Tampa area!

“Fabulous Stay”
We had never heard of Wyndham, we didn't know what to expect. Luckily, we were treated to a fabulous stay in an extremely clean and nicely decorated room with the most comfortable bed (king size with a comfy comforter which I wanted to take home!!) The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We chose not to venture outdoors for dinner because of a huge downpour, so we ate in the hotel dining room. Again, we were amazed that the food was incredibly delicious and the waiter superb. Breakfast buffet the next morning was again delicious and. There was a complimentary airport shuttle from the hotel featuring a driver who knew the ins and outs and shortcuts to the airport. We highly recommend this hotel.

Can't say enough good things about this hotel. It was wonderful. The location was convenient-only a few minutes from the airport. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the beds were so comfortable that I looked at the mattress before we left in the hopes of buying one for home!

Great hotel. Lots of well-lit parking and a very clean lobby. There is also a nice restaurant and bar downstairs. The room was very clean and comfortable with extra-soft sheets and clean bathroom. The hotel is geared more towards business travel, but served as a great place for a leisure stay.
